Carla - The Photonics Career Hub
H2020 EU-funded project developing a model for inclusive pan-European career
camps of excellence around the opportunities and multidisciplinary dimensions
of photonics.
The initiative will provide university students and early-stage researchers with a
roadmap for better employability and create spaces to network with photonics
stakeholders.
Activities
Create working groups representing different photonics stakeholders (industry, academia, entrepreneurs, students and researchers and a transversal team focused on diversity) involving over 120 members
Design, organise and implement working sessions with the different stakeholder groups to collect their input on photonics career development events
Develop the blueprint of the CARLA camps, including a handbook
Host 11 career camps organized by institutions in 10 different countries
Create an online hub for careers in photonics through LinkedIn and Instagram platforms
