ECOP members organize events to bring photonics into the spotlight, and to increase its the visibility among the general public at large. These activities are often organized in partnership with other institutions or within bigger events that attract large number of general public visitors.

ECOP members participate in a number of collaborative activities with entrepreneurs, scientists and industry to introduce photonics and its potential to unacquainted professionals.

ECOP members strive to make the professional opportunities of photonics visible to university students and encourage careers in this multidisciplinary sector.

ECOP members work closely with their local education networks to create activities and material to promote photonics and STEM in general among young students.
